FSAO is excited to collaborate with BU’s world-renowned Center for Anxiety Related Disorders (CARD) in offering this workshop. It will be led by Ariel Blakey M.A. and Abigail Barthel M.A., both advanced clinical psychology doctoral students at CARD.
In this 2-part workshop you’ll learn evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness skills for preparing for and coping with the repopulation of BU’s campus. It will address emotions around emerging from COVID restrictions and teach mindfulness strategies to increase present-focused awareness, skills for managing and challenging negative thinking patterns, and tips for effective scheduling and task prioritization. Attendees will walk away with tangible skills to practice that can promote resiliency and flexibility during this shifting time!
