This instructional video demonstrates how to use the MIT COVID Isolation Box (V14). This box provides enhanced user maneuverability compared with the original models, is disposable, inexpensive, is supplied folded and is assembled quickly without tools, adhesives or tape, simply by using the clip joints integral to the one sheet design. Apply self adhesive medical drapes over the openings. We recommend several boxes be pre-assembled and ready for use. The resultant box is 22 inches tall and though lightweight is structurally sound, able to support a 10 lb weight.
The box was developed by
Alfonso Parra Rubio & Zach Fredin’s (Research Assistants at MIT”s Center for Bits and Atoms) . Refer to Zach's GitLab site on the box.
